While the biggest video streaming services have basically all gotten price hikes in the last year, Xbox Game Pass' price has held pretty firm for a while now. This will allow subscribers to share a subscription with up to four other friends or family members, and Microsoft began testing the new tier in multiple countries last year.
One new feature that could be on the way is the Xbox Game Pass Friends & Family Plan. There's no word yet on what Xbox's potential alternative marketing promotion could be for Game Pass. It allowed new members to try out Xbox Game Pass for a month for just a buck, before renewing at the standard monthly subscription of $14.99 a month for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or $9.99 a month to subscribe for either PC or console. Both will be available on Game Pass day one, so you’ll get your money’s worth fast if you were planning on buying one or both of those later this year.The $1 trial has been a pillar of the Game Pass service for years. However, Xbox has some major releases like Starfieldand Forza Motorsport on the horizon. The service has struggled to produce major hits, with first-party games like Redfall disappointing fans.
If you don’t already have Game Pass, it’s a mixed time to hop in. You’ll still have to pay $11 to get your first month.
